Oh sakhi! Our beloved Shyāmasundara, who is the crest-jewel of rasikas, is absolutely under the control of love. He, who does not even in the trance of yogis, dances saying ‘Tā thei, Tā thei-thei’, to the rhythm of the gopis’ clapping.
Oh sakhi! He is so bound by the strings of love that He, who is always searched by the hymns of the Vedas, allows Himself to be tied with a mortar, becoming Kānha, the son of Yashodā.
Such is the bondage of love that the same Supreme Lord, who provides subsistence to the whole world consisting of innumerable cosmic eggs, eats the food-leavings of the cowherd boys of Braja, by forcibly taking morsels out of their mouth; and while playing, becomes the horse of those illiterate village boys.
Oh sakhi! He is absolutely controlled by love. That is why, He, who annihilates the entire universe consisting of innumerable moveable and immoveable creatures, feels afraid of Mother Yashodā’s stick.
Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “I sacrifice myself on the divine sports of my inconceivable Lord because bound with the chain of love, He performs the sweetest and supremely unique līlās.”
